I wanted to write about Cheryl White this week who is the founder of Apollo Care. Cheryl is my best friend but she is amazing as a business women. She inspired me in 2016 to buy a franchise in Apollo Care which I done and it has changed my life in so many ways. I could not have done this without the support of Chery, her mum and her amazing team she has in place to offer support every single day.
Cheryl is amazing, supportive, caring, drive to always be the best and take Apollo to the next level, she is dedicated and clever. She has the highest of values and is truly cares about everyone. She has come so far since starting Apollo Care and changed not only my life but all the other franchise Manager’s lives and also so many lives of people we care for across Wirral and Liverpool.
I have written this as she never complains, she is always there to support us all and always goes above and beyond. I do not know another person who can turn a negative into a positive other than Cheryl. To make you laugh when you feel like crying and to inspire hope and inspiration on days when you really need it. This makes her one in a million and a fantastic successful business lady. Cheryl has come so far and deserve recognition for all that she has done and still does.
I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of Apollo Care. I think we all owe a massive big thank you to this special lady Cheryl White who in my eyes is a total star and she does not even know it.
I would like to thank yourself and the care assistants especially Jade, who over the years have cared for and been a great help & friend to mum. She is getting more forgetful as time goes on but at 89 that’s excusable! I know she would like me to pass on her thanks and good wishes to you and the staff at Apollo. I know you will continue to give a great level of care of your clients and hope you continue to be successful in what you do. Very best wishes to you all
I just wanted to let you know that M and S are so delighted with the level of care that they are receiving. They are really positive about each of the members of your team and they seem much more confident and positive about life in general – down in many ways to the lift they get from the team. They love their flexibility e.g., saving them as the freezer was defrosting, ironing (some better than S could do herself – praise indeed!!), shopping, making the bed etc. and lovely approach that they have when they visit.
Just thought it would be nice for you and the guys to know just how much they are valued and appreciated, and a really huge thanks from D & I as we’re now able to have quality time and relaxing time with them, as they have the energy and attitude to want to go out for coffee/lunch etc.
Many, many thanks – you’re a great team and do a really great job that’s much appreciated (directly by M & S” and indirectly by us too!!)
So there we are at Wembley Stadium watching Tranmere Rovers win promotion back to the football league when who do we bump into? Apollo Care South Liverpool manager Diana with one of their service users! Wow they really tailor to their clients needs and dreams
I had reason to contact Apollo Care earlier this year as we had to increase the level of care provided for my mother who suffers with hearing and sight problems (she is on the severely sight-disabled register) as well as with significant mobility issues and a diagnosis of the onset of double dementia. In addition to all of these issues, there are needs which come simply as a result of the age-related frailty which, at 91 years of age, one would expect.
My first recourse was to Age Concern, but they were unable to provide the amount of care required. The contact at AC did, however, recommend Apollo Care Ltd and passed me their contact details.
I was pleasantly surprised by the speed of response from Apollo Care. Zara Williams, Care Manager for Apollo Liverpool, came to visit my mother in her flat the next day and the speed with which they were able to assess the kind of care which mum would require and their general approach and sensitive handling of the conversation with her were, in my opinion, exemplary.
In the four years since I returned from Germany to assist my mother with her various problems, I have had dealings at various times with three care companies. All of these companies were adequate in delivering some measure of care but often, in a single week, mother might see as many as five different carers with the concomitant increase in confusion and uncertainty which this engendered.
One of the things which distinguishes Apollo Care, in my opinion, is the way in which they appreciate the need for building good relationships between care-givers and clients and for a continuity of care wherever scheduling makes this possible.
Zara, the Manager of Apollo Care Liverpool, has been particularly impressive because of her diligence, positive work ethic and ability to build up a good relationship with my mum who, it must be said, is not always an easy person to get along with.
All in all, I would have no hesitation in recommending Apollo Care as a company in the warmest terms possible.
I would like to say a big thank you to the wonderful care and kindness your carers are giving to my mother. They are fantastic. I live a considerable distance from my mother who is 104yrs old and quite fragile. They keep me informed and it is a great comfort to know she is so well cared for.
I joined Apollo Care in March 2014 and although I have only been an employee for such a short period of time I have made many friends and collected some great memories. I left my previous employment due to having very restricted working hours due to having two young children in full time education, when I explained this to my employer Hannah she understood fully and went above and beyond to accommodate and guide me into a role I have always been ambitious about. This company truly appreciates its employee’s hard work and commitment and rewards us all equally as well as being fully committed to providing the highest level of care to its clients. Due to me having no previous experience in this field of work I was provided with a very extensive training program which not only taught me the skills required but also gave me a better insight to how far Apollo Care will go to give its clients the exact service they require and deserve. At Apollo Care teamwork is key and the friendly environment where in reflects positively on our ability to work together.

Well I’ve had a fantastic first week at Apollo care south Wirral, fantastic team to work with and I’ve met some genuinely nice people, not just people in the office, the carers and of course the clients. I’m so glad to be back to my roots community care is probably the most rewarding job there is. It’s a joy and pleasure to be part of a company who genuinely cares for their clients, their families and their staff. Thank you Suzanne Janvier for the opportunity and I am honoured to be your new care coordinator.
Each and every one of your carers looked after mum as well as if she were their own parent, they were always smart polite and very professional in the way they carried out their duties.
Thank you so much for not only the huge amount of care, support and love that you showed to Grandpa, but also to the rest of the family, it was a great help and very comforting to know you were always there when needed.
Your care, dedication, support and compassion will never by forgotten. You are all priceless! Many thanks
Your lovely carers coming in everyday made a huge difference to my caring role and I will be eternally grateful.
On behalf of all the family, I just want to thank you and the team for the superb way you all looked after Dad. Dad had always struggled to accept help from anyone, but you enabled him to retain his dignity and he always looked forward to the visits from Apollo.
I wish to thank you and all the girls that came to help me look after my dad, they did a splendid job and are a credit to your organisation.
To the wonderful bunch of carers at Apollo, who have looked after our mum so well.
We want to thank you for the excellent service that your agency has provided. You aren’t the first agency we have used but we feel that you have been the best agency. Your staff have been friendly, polite and punctual and we thank you for taking good care of our mother.
Your girls are fantastic and the way they look after my mum is incredible, thank you so much.

Cheryl approached me back in June 2013 with the idea of franchising the company, and as I was one of her employees I knew how the company worked and how hard Cheryl had worked over the years to build a brand and excellent reputation.
I was very excited and nervous all rolled into one, but Cheryl guided me through the process and had helped me along, with excellent training. Cheryl is always on the end of the phone should I need advice and is in regular contact, always coming up with ways to increase business and promote the company.
If you are a caring person who has experience of the care sector, this is a fantastic opportunity for you, if you are prepared to put in the hard work you will reap the rewards.
I decided to buy a franchise of Apollo Care in 2013 after working as a Community Care Assistant for Cheryl for 18 months. Having worked for a couple of care providers in the past, I was very impressed with the efficiency, dedication and passion felt throughout the staff force. So much so, that when Cheryl announced she was franchising I leapt at the opportunity.
My branch, Apollo Care West Wirral, started trading in January 2014 and has exceeded my expectations in growth and turnover. Cheryl has provided me with comprehensive training, detailed structure for running the business and a proven marketing methods to attract new business. Apollo Care Franchising Ltd have been very supportive and we continue to meet regularly to discuss progress, ideas and updates.
