When I was recently asked to describe Apollo care (North) Liverpool, I can only describe us as a small family. We are a dedicated team with staff that go the extra mile everyday that they work.
Apollo Care North Liverpool has been operating in the Liverpool area since 2016. We are a care agency dedicated to providing outstanding care and service for our clients.
As well as supporting our private clients, we are now part of the Carers Support at Home Budget and are happy for our clients to use their budgets with ourselves working around their individual needs.
Our staff go through a thorough recruitment and induction process to ensure we are providing the best care team possible to meet out clients changing needs.
Individual care plans are drawn up for clients focussing on their holistic care needs. We are very experienced in dealing with families and helping families adapt to the process of their loved one needing care. We are aware that this can be a very difficult and stressful time for both family members and the person needing the care and can sometimes be frustrating and upsetting. We are there to offer help and advice, and to support all members of the family that are involved in the process.
All of our clients are given a rota every Friday with their allocated time and named carer so that they know every day who is visiting them and what time.
Paul and Diana are excited to be a part of the North Team with Kristel.
We started together in our separate entity, and we are going to flourish together as one.
New beginnings for us all.
We're here for you

Meet Apollo Care North Liverpool’s Managing Directors
About Kristel Thompson
My name is Kristel Thompson I am the Managing Director of Apollo Care North Liverpool.
I am so proud of who we are and I wanted to share some things about me with you, so you know what drives me and why I have such a wonderful team of fantastic carers with me. At the end of an interview I will ask my myself this question. Would I have that person care for me or my family?
I am a caring and passionate person. I am married with 3 children aged 9, 5 and 3 who I absolutely adore. I have a cat called Molly who is 14 and a dog called Boris who is 12. I am a working mum who dedicates her time to her business and family. My mum and dad are the best mum and dad in the world and I love them to bits. I am here and who I am today because of them. I have very close friends who I adore and always have time for no matter what.
I care about each and every member of my team and if they are happy then I am happy too. Nobody should be in a job they do not enjoy or do not feel supported. I do my best to promote my staff and support them all the time. I know it is important to be grateful for life and who is in it.
I am so passionate about our clients who we care for because I want to make a difference to peoples’ lives. I want them to remain in their own homes with the level of care that they need. I want them to become more independent and if this is possible we will promote this. This makes me happy.
Do you know if we constantly do things for people over and over it can have a detrimental effect on them without us realising? To encourage someone to try and have a go themselves can have phenomenal impact. This can improve confidence, self belief, mental health and stamina.
I was recently asked:
“Why do you want to do that?”
I want to do it because I believe that everyone should be treated fairly and be treated with respect and encouraged to live their lives to the best of their ability. Not give up!!!
