I wanted to tell you about a lovely afternoon that I had with Nicola Miles at the Ladies Charity Lunch.
This was to raise money for Woodlands Hospice. We had a lovely 3 course meal. We had a chance to meet with lovely ladies and raise money at the same time. I cannot wait for the next one. We hope to now support a walk too to help raise further money.
There were amazing donations for prizes and we won a Body Shop Prize. Nicola was putting on the lip gloss in the car on the way home!
I love that there really are so many generous lovely people out there willing to do so many things for charity.
I felt I wanted to write about this because a lot of the time in the news we only hear of bad things and not good things that people do.
I love that we do have a lovely community of people surrounding us.
