At Apollo Care it is so important to us that we help the community that we live and work in. At this time of year spending time with our family, eating and drinking and being comfortable and warm is something we can all take for granted.
It’s really difficult to imagine that there could be children waking up on Christmas morning with no presents to open and nothing to look forward to but this is sadly very much a reality.
This year it was our pleasure to support Radio City’s Cash for Kids Mission Christmas. All of our teams in Liverpool and Wirral, along with Head Office took part and the response was amazing as it always has been whenever we have asked our staff to support a local charity.
Cash for Kids Mission Christmas is a wonderful cause and we applaud everyone involved from the radio presenters and coordinators who brave the cold on a Friday to the present sorters, collectors and office staff.
There are plenty of drop off points in Merseyside if you would like to donate a present and if you would like to apply for a present because you know one of those 1 in 4 local children who lives in poverty, details can be found here.
