Apollo Care are proud to announce that six of our North West teams have joined together to provide sponsorship for Liverpool Futsal Club Ladies team.
Liverpool Futsal Club are an established Futsal club and have been competing since 2006. The men’s team play in the FA National Futsal League which kicks off this month.
The club also run a number of youth teams for both boys and girls and have taken the decision to reintroduce the Ladies team due to the increasing popularity and interest in the sport.
Coached by Hayley Cunningham (FA Level 2 in coaching Futsal, FA Level 2 in coaching football) and including in the squad one of our own Apollo Care team members, Lisa, Liverpool Ladies Futsal are looking forward to their new challenge in the FA Ladies National League which also kicks off later this month.
Futsal is a five-a-side game which is usually played on a flat indoor pitch with a size 4 ball with reduced bounce and a 3m x 2m goal.
Unlike traditional five-a-side, there are touch lines and if the ball goes out of play the opposing team have 4 seconds to bring the ball back into play…
